Smokey’s Closet

Smokey’s Closest provides free, gently used professional and business casual clothing, shoes, and accessories to all students, faculty, and staff at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Smokey’s Closet is co-located with the Big Orange Pantry in the Center for Basic Needs, Student Union Room 376C. 

 

Current Hours for Fall 2023:

Monday – Friday: 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

Saturday: Closed

Sunday: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm

 

Shopping at Smokey’s Closet

Stop by to be outfitted by one of our team members for that next job interview or event. Our team is trained to provide you with style guidance, measurements and sizing, and support with other common challenges experienced when shopping for clothing. Fitting rooms are also available in our space. We look forward to shopping with you!

 

Clothing Donations

We are currently accepting donations of gently used business casual and professional clothing. Donations can be made by delivering clothing to Smokey’s Closet during open hours. If you would like to check on high-priority clothing needs or need additional assistance, please contact our office at basicneeds@utk.edu.
