Mandie Beeler, Ed.D.

Director, Jones Center for Leadership & Service

Biography

A native of Seymour, Tennessee, Mandie Thacker Beeler serves as the Director of the Jones Center for Leadership and Service. In this role, she oversees the Emerging Leadership program, engages campus and community partners to elevate leadership and service, coordinates fundraising initiatives and cultivates donor relationships, and provides direction and support for all programs and course offerings related to the Center’s mission. She is passionate about civic and community engagement, volunteerism, and active citizenship.

Beeler received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Middle Tennessee State University, a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina, and a Doctorate of Education in Learning and Leadership from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga where her scholarship focused on the role of required volunteerism and service-learning and students’ perceptions of civic responsibility.

For fun, Mandie enjoying spending time with her family, volunteering, and traveling to visit friends and the beach.
