Associate Dean of Students
Danny Glassmann (he/him/his) serves as one of the associate deans of students focused on leadership and connection. Glassmann's responsibilities include supervision of areas related to leadership development and campus connections, assisting in developing relationships and partnerships with internal and external community members, and assisting with the management of initiatives and routine operations within the Office of the Dean of Students.
Prior to his arrival at UT, Glassmann previously served in the roles of assistant dean of students and director of Residence Life at Oglethorpe University, assistant director of Residence Life and Multicultural Center at Elon University, and also worked in the Office of Staff Development and Student Conduct at the University of Georgia.
His professional background includes experience with residence life, student conduct, student activities, Greek affairs, orientation, leadership development, and multicultural programs and services.
He is involved in many professional organizations, including the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), National Association of Student Personnel Administration (NASPA), International Ombudsman Association (IOA), International Association of Student Affairs and Services (IASAS), Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA), and Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals.
In his spare time, he enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and his two puppies, Cooper and Sadie.
